When my Mac sleeps, or is powered-off, it seems that the re-connect and subsequent fetch of new mail doesn't get ingested into Spotlight properly, but I'm guessing here. Reindex seems to fix the search problem temporarily for the day.In Outlook 2016 I had to run the Reindex tool that MS provides for this problem (doesn't work with Outlook 365/2019, but the above solution does work

Somewhere between Outlook 2011 and Outlook 2016 I noticed that searches stopped returning full results.

A majority of the mail I receive is from Linux systems and other devices on enterprise that our team manages (I'm a sysadmin).
